One application closes - another one opens!

The applications for the Future Mobility Award have been closed. The amount of applications and diversity within them have really been incredible. We have received applications from 18 different countries all over the world. We’re beyond excited to start the evaluation process.

The future of mobility is obviously more than important to us so we have taken the matters into our own hands. Volvo Cars collaborates with startups through MobilityXlab to promote a circular economy

Volvo Cars has been working with sustainability for many years and a couple of years ago the company decided to take serious leaps towards promoting a circular economy. Karin André works with circular economy within global sustainability at Volvo Cars and she lets us in on Volvo Cars’ plans for the future and their engagement in MobilityXlab.

From VR headsets to autonomous cars, Univrses journey has been a winding path. Now, with a renewed focus, the Company has developed its first products for autonomous vehicles. Going forward, their application of computer vision is poised to contribute to some major trends and shifts to how vehicles move around in cities. Through MobilityXlab Univrses was given easy access to its partner companies. This has resulted in a great collaboration with the world leading transport solution provider Volvo Group.
