WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The program is stage agnostic, but startups must have a functioning prototype, be a registered company in any country, and be able to show traction (PPCs/pilots with OEMs/Tier 1).

For Batch 15, we seek startups in the following focus areas:

Solutions that accelerate the transition to enhanced future electric vehicles and connected ecosystems' efficiency, including user experience.

Examples: Electrofuel, thermal technologies, efficient charging solutions, predictive maintenance, distributed computing, efficient data storage, and software-defined vehicles (SDV).

Technologies for advancing hardware and software for automated driving platforms, ensuring safety, or enhancing self-driving capabilities and supporting the ecosystem.

Examples: Sensors, synthetic data, digital twins, in-cabin tech, collaborative features, AI, ADAS, L2+, L3+.

Startups that can reshape the future of mobility experiences with connected services and advanced connectivity technologies.

Examples: Fleet management, digitalization, data sharing, V2V, V2I, user consent.

Materials, processes, and systems that drive sustainability forward.

Examples: Remanufacturing, disassembling, recycling, material replacement, CO2 reduction, sustainable sourcing, substances of concern.

Are you a startup in a different vertical such as health tech, infrastructure, or gaming? Welcome to apply in this explorative category. We seek innovation and technologies that can bring value to our partners in pioneering future mobility.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

COLLABORATION FROM DAY ONE

MobilityXlab focuses on the joint development of solutions. From the start of the program, you will get an assigned partner lead, an internal champion responsible for the continuous progress of your collaboration.

ACCESS TO GLOBAL PLAYERS IN THE SAME PLACE

Startups are selected by two of our partners to join the program. Still, they get to network and access to all of our partners and industry leaders: Magna, Volvo Group, Zeekr Technology Europe and Zenseact.

A CHANCE AT COMMERCIAL CONTRACT

Our structured framework for collaboration has resulted in over 100 validation projects and 24 accelerations (commercial contracts) since its inception. Our method helps startups validate their technologies and potentially secure commercial contracts with our partners.

YOU KEEP YOUR EQUITY

MobilityXlab is a non-profit neutral platform hosted by Lindholmen Science Park. We don't take equity or charge fees for startups to participate in the program.

REVERSED PITCHES: UNDERSTAND OUR PARTNER NEEDS

Close to 300 startups apply to MobilityXlab each year, and the competition is fierce. To prepare your best application, we recommend attending the Reversed Pitches, in which our partners explain the solutions they are looking for and answer questions from the startups.
