Financial Times - Future of the car Summit 2019

15 May 2019 11:15 to 12:30
etc.venues Houndsditch, Liverpool Street 133, London
We are looking forward to be a part of the program at Financial Times Future of the Car Summit in London 15th of May. We, our startups and partners, will then discuss how we bring #futuremobility closer through corporate & startup collaboration.

The need for innovation within the automotive and transportation industries is increasing, leading more and more companies to collaborate across traditional borders with external partners and build ecosystems around their offerings. Ericsson and Volvo Cars entered into a successful partnership already back in 2012 and have ever since established the multi-award winning Volvo Sensus Connect, powered by the Ericsson Connected Vehicle Cloud that today covers more than 3 M vehicles in more than 100 countries.

In 2017 Ericsson and Volvo Cars took the next step in their innovation journey by establishing MobilityXlab together with four major players in the smart mobility industry (Volvo Group, Veoneer, Zenuity and CEVT) to engage with the startup ecosystem. The goal of the MobilityXlab partnership is to be an unconventional innovation platform where established and emerging companies with pioneering ideas can collaborate better. In this breakout session MobilityXlab partners and startups discuss how they are bringing future mobility closer together.
