On May 16, Peter Eriksson, Minister for Digital Development, launched an international leading artificial intelligence collaboration (AI) - Data Factory & Arena. The venue will be established in Gothenburg at Lindholmen Science Park.

Artificial Intelligence in focus

Artificial Intelligence is in focus for MobilityXlab’s next round of invitations to technology developers. Automation needs to become better than humans at solving tasks such as driving a vehicle, managing fleets, optimizing traffic flows, managing smart mobility or analysing and interpreting data.

CEVT joins the startup accelerator MobilityXlab

CEVT AB – China Euro Vehicle Technology – Geely’s innovation and development centre in Sweden now joins the newly formed MobilityXlab at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg, Sweden. “Together with the founding companies of MobilityXlab I am certain we can accomplish great innovations” Says CEVT CEO Mats Fagerhag.

In an increasingly complex and digitalized sector, where automation, electro mobility and connected vehicles comprise the future, new requirements are being set in terms of work approaches. Which is why Autoliv, Ericsson, Volvo Cars, the Volvo Group and Zenuity opened MobilityXlab at Lindholmen Science Park today. The companies want to strengthen their positions at the forefront of a changing automotive industry with the aim of collaborating with start-ups to develop and demonstrate safer and more efficient transportation for tomorrow’s world.
