Application now open to co-create the future of mobility

“This time, we specifically look for innovations and solutions that contribute in four specific areas where partners are looking for new innovative solutions: Electromobility, Affordable AI, Sensor Software Innovation, and In-Cabin Tech. The involvement from our partners CEVT, Ericsson, Volvo Cars, Volvo Group, Veoneer, and Zenseact is very high as this way of working in collaboration with emerging companies is a winning formula to speed up innovation," comments Katarina Brud, Director MobilityXlab. 

United front attracts 

The six industry partners behind the MobilityXlab innovation hub offer young companies with pioneering ideas the opportunity to access their network and accelerate through strategic partnerships. 

“The vision is to pioneer future mobility. MobilityXlab is a collaboration platform that enables innovative solutions for founding partner companies and emerging companies. This is done by acting as the interface and creating a culture of openness, trust, and collaboration,” says Katarina Brud. 

The uniqueness of MobilityXlab is the integration with its partners, and representatives are involved in every part of the organization, from screening new applications to leading the collaborations. To be selected to MobilityXlab, at least two partners need to show interest in a startup’s value proposition. The end goal is a strategic partnership that creates the next step in the mobility industry. 

Application process

Startups apply at mobilityxlab.com between February 1 and March 31, after which the evaluating process starts. All invited startups then join the MobilityXlab community, starting with a kick-off in August, for six to twelve months,  after which they become a part of the alumni network.
