MobilityXlab bets on AI and Deep Tech, welcoming seven startups to the collaboration program

Wednesday, June 25, 2025

MobilityXlab today announced the selection of seven new startups to join its renowned startup-industry collaboration program.

Technology is presented at Tech Day

Dessia Technologies (France), Discernity (Sweden), EYE2Drive (Italy), Easyrain (Italy), Deontic (Belgium), Digitraffic (Sweden) and BeyondMath (United Kingdom) will introduce a diverse range of cutting-edge solutions to MobilityXlab's industry partners, reinforcing a collective commitment to innovation in a challenging global market.

The incoming startups bring technologies addressing important challenges in the mobility sector, including advanced AI for creating and testing vehicle designs in virtual environments, next-generation Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) connectivity, and AI-powered driver monitoring systems designed to detect drowsiness and prevent accidents.

The emerging companies were selected after a rigorous process for their potential to accelerate the future of safe and sustainable mobility. They will now start a six-month journey with MobilityXlab partners Magna, Volvo Group, Zeekr Technology Europe and Zenseact. The program is designed to accelerate the innovation cycle by providing startups with direct access to the expertise of these global industry leaders, fostering co-creation and pathways to commercialization.

"This is a unique opportunity to bridge that gap and see our technology make a tangible impact in real life."

Dr. Jack Jiang, CEO at Discernity

And just that access to market leaders is extremely important to startups. Dr. Jack Jiang, CEO at Discernity, says: “As a deep tech startup, you can build what you believe is game-changing technology in your own garage, but the real test is in the real world. Joining MobilityXlab gives us a direct line to the experts we need to validate and scale our AI platform. This is a unique opportunity to bridge that gap and see our technology make a tangible impact in real life."

Katarina Brud, director at MobilityXlab says: "At MobilityXlab, we recognize that the future belongs to those who have the capability to innovate, adapt, and collaborate. As technology and AI rapidly transform our industry, it’s not just about what you know, but who you can connect to and how well you can work together. Our partners and startups are ready to explore new possibilities and at the same time balance today’s business needs with tomorrow’s sustainable solutions. Together, we can build the capabilities that will define the winners of the future—driving both immediate impact and long-term sustainability."
