Three Dominant Mobility Players Partner with EIT Urban Mobility to Form a Revolutionary Consortium!

Drive TLV (Israel), MobilityXlab (Sweden), and STARTUP AUTOBAHN powered by Plug and Play (Germany) are proud to announce their partnership with EIT Urban Mobility to launch the Smart Mobility Accelerator Program for early-stage startups.

 

Smart Mobility Accelerator

The Program is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.

The Smart Mobility Accelerator Program’s mission:

To support and empower startups with state-of-the-art solutions in smart and sustainable mobility, with the aim of disrupting the market and creating a sustainable future. 

How the program supports and empowers startups:

The Smart Mobility Accelerator Program is a hands-on, 6-month opportunity for early-stage startups to gain access to the support and resources they need to succeed, provided by all  three partners — Drive TLV in Tel-Aviv, MobilityXlab in Gothenburg, and STARTUP AUTOBAHN in Stuttgart. The program will leverage the experience and networks of the participating partners to promote the selected startups and assist their growth, investment, and commercialization initiatives. The program offers a comprehensive range of benefits for startups to utilize, including:

  • Catered business consultation by industry experts
  • Product and technology validation
  • Honing the product-market fit and value proposition
  • Investor pitch coaching 
  • A Sustainable Development Goals Workshop
  • Exposure to top OEMs and Tier 1’s including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Honda, Volvo Cars, Goodyear, Hertz, ALD, and more
  • Promotion of startups through EIT Urban Mobility communication channels
  • Recommendation for investment from EIT Urban Mobility – Impact Ventures division

Startups will also receive a €2,500 lump-sum contribution to support eligible cost categories, such as travel and subsistence, equipment purchase, and other goods and services.

 

About EIT Urban Mobility:
EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) that since January 2019 has been working to encourage positive changes in the way people move around cities in order to make them more liveable places. The organization aims to become the largest European initiative transforming urban mobility being co-funded of up to € 400 million (2020-2026) from the EIT, a body of the European Union, which will help make this happen.
